When we focus purely on ourselves we become egocentric and selfish and this is a huge contribution to general unhappiness, anxiety and a lack of fulfillment because you will live with constant disappointment. If you don’t manage self-obsessiveness and expectation you can’t expect inner peace.

Life is about balance and balance is a true success. Know when you are powerless to a situation and let it be. Let go of expectation and perceived outcomes and focus more on others (positively) and your overall wellbeing will improve dramatically.
